This product is amazing. Nothing has ever reduced itching scalp for me Better than this.

Recommended by my dermatologist. I swear you only need to do it a couple of times. The first time for 15 minutes. The second time leave it on for an hour. It is a very foaming shampoo. I use a good moisturizing cream rinse after. It works for flaking and itching and lifting of the scalp!

I absolutely love it! My hair gets extremely oily if it’s humid outside or with different weather conditions. This shampoo not only controls the oils but also helps with dandruff! The scent is strong but not unbearable, my kids use it as well. If you have psoriasis or eczema, it is known to help with the dryness. The bottles aren’t big but a little goes a long way.

Works great, smells AWFUL. Applied to my dry scalp and left on for about an hour before shampooing it out. It's very thick, and I massage it into my scalp. Makes your hair smell like gasoline or maybe burning tires (not sure which, but it's bad), but I follow it with a regular shampoo and conditioner to help cut the nasty smell if I have to go out that day, which does help although the scent lingers some. It also tends to slightly darken my light-colored hair if I don't follow it with a regular shampoo and conditioner. I've tried the coal tar shampoos and treatments with 1% coal tar, but the Tarsum with 2% just works so much better.

My psoriasis breakout I’ve been dealing with for two years now is GONE after just TWO TREATMENTS? I’m thrilled but also so annoyed that I didn’t try this product earlier! I’ve been using other coal tar shampoos and salicylic acid ones for two years and all of them maybe helped a little or just kept my patches at bay, but this product literally cleared my entire scalp after two 30 minute uses. I’ll probably keep using it once every week or two just as a shampoo to make sure it doesn’t come back, but I am totally blow away by how well this worked!

Much easier to use than typical coal tar shampoo. Works just fine.

If you're dealing with scalp psoriasis, this shampoo is a total game changer. Within a few washes, I noticed significantly less flaking, redness, and irritation. It really works - better than anything else I've tried.Now, let’s talk about the smell... it's rough. Strong and medicinal, not something you look forward to in the shower. But honestly, the results make it worth it. I just follow up with a good moisturizing hair mask, which helps soften my hair and masks the scent a bit.Yes, it can be drying, but that’s an easy fix with the right conditioner or mask. For the relief it gives my scalp, I’ll gladly hold my nose and keep using it.

I have tried many tar shampoos and this one is the best. It contains more tar than most (2% vs 1%) and does a very effective job at controlling the itchiness and flaking. It is also very well-priced, as you need to use very little product for it to do the job. i highly recommend you try it if you have not been satisfied with the products you've tried thus far.

I’ve suffered with severe irritation and embarrassing flakes for years. I used steroid foam prescribed by a physician with limited success. I had a patch about the size of my open hand on the back of my head. I couldn’t wear darker colored shirts due to the extreme amount of flaking. I use this product every other day and only use a very small amount. Game changer!

My hubby has been using Tarsum for some time and it has helped him with itchy scalp and hair falling out. It doesn't have a distinct smell, it is easy to use, and it lasts for about a month. I wish the bottle was bigger for the price, however it is worth every penny.

I have struggled all my life with dandruff even prescription anti dandruff did not work for me. This works really well. Doesn't smell the best but that's a trade off. A little goes a long way.

The smell is a little off putting, but I’ve found this helps my itchy scalp more than anything else ever has, so it’s worth it. Everyone is different, but it worked for me.

this really works well and you do not have to use much each time. Glad I purchased this after trying other products that did not work

Okay…had an itchy miserable scalp. My doc gave me a super duper steroid topical I used for 2 shampoos. Since then I’ve been using this shampoo 2x a week annd my itchy scalp has not returned! The smell isn’t too bad…but it leaves my hair super soft…but no more itching at night! If I had been using this, I don’t think my doc would have had to prescribe anything.
